I suppose that this shouldn't really be included as part of the FAQ as it isn't in the Q&A format but there you
go.
Prisonery-type things
In the Patrick McGoohan directed episode of Danger Man Actor Peter Swanwick plays a small credited part. he later appeared
in many episodes ofThe Prisoner as the Supervisor.
Colony Three has a decidedly Prisoner-like plot with the village in the middle of nowhere where all ex-secret agents and
other people who know things.
Miscilaneous bits.
Thems as who live in America did not see the first (Half Hour) series with a different introduction.
Patrick McGoohan was offered the role of James Bond but turned it down.
He was also considered to take over the role of "Columbo" after Peter Falk ended his run as the star of the show.
On the subject of Bond it could be said that the many devious devices used by Bond were designed with Drake's secret devices in
mind, some of them are listed here
- 2 french loaves that turn into a rifle
- fishing-rod radio
- shaver/radio
- microdot tape recorder on newspaper
- Tear gas shooting cigar
- etc.

secret agent's kit."
