The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band

[Bonzo Dog]

Introduction

The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band was one of the first of the many Sixties British Art College bands (such as The Who), being formed between 1962-1965.

Their inspired lunacy - comic songs, sketches, exploding robots and much more - gained them a lasting cult following.

Recording success was mainly in the period 1967-1969, overlapping with their residency on the popular and significant TV show Do Not Adjust Your Set. At their peak they were outdrawing many big rock names.
